BEAUZ (pronounced bouz) is an American DJ / producer duo consisting of brothers Bernie and Johan Yang. Since childhood, the brothers would quarrel over their undeniable similarities. Yet, their shared love for music brought them together. They share the same dream- to let the world feel what they feel through music.
After graduating from USC and UC Berkeley, they decided to pursue music production which began with remixes such as competition winner "Quicksand - BEAUZ Remix". After achieving moderate success with singles such as Never Over, they created their biggest hit Hide and Seek with Steve Void that topped the Dutch iTunes sales chart. In 2017, BEAUZ released with some of dance music’s top labels including Spinnin’, Armada, Trap Nation, Enhanced, Proximity.
The brothers made a name for themselves with pop remixes that were supported by elite music channels such as Trap City and Proximity, eventually landing them an official remix for Zedd (Happy Now - BEAUZ Remix) and Cash Cash (Belong - BEAUZ Remix). Moreover, their "Lucid Dreams" remix was played by Diplo in front of thousands at MIA festival in Philadelphia. The duo have amassed 25+ million total streams across various streaming platforms; but that number is relatively small compared to the 62+ million streams on the Chinese music listening platform, NetEase Music. With recognition from international superstar DJs and a never-ending stream of releases under their belt, it's only the matter of time before BEAUZ becomes a household name.
