BEAUZ (pronounced bowz) is an American DJ / producer duo consisting of brothers Bernie and Johan Yang. Based in Los Angeles and San Francisco and with roots from Indonesia and Taiwan, they share the dream of uniting cultures and creating a positive impact in the world through music. In the short span of four years, they have garnered support from top DJs including Zedd, Diplo, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Don Diablo etc. and toured in prestigious venues and colleges across North America and Asia.
After graduating from USC and UC Berkeley, they decided to pursue music production which began with remixes such as competition winner "Quicksand (BEAUZ Remix)". After achieving moderate success with singles such as Never Over, they created their biggest hit Hide and Seek with Steve Void that broke 7 million streams. With an eclectic sound and consistent workflow, BEAUZ has released music with Armada, Spinnin', NCS, Atlantic, Interscope, Universal, Strange Fruits, Trap Nation and Proximity.
BEAUZ dominated 2018 with countless remixes on elite Youtube channels, eventually landing official remixes on various major labels for esteemed artists, including Zedd (Happy Now - BEAUZ Remix - played out by Zedd himself in UMF 2019 Main Stage), Cash Cash, Galantis, Tritonal, Sandro Cavazza, Witt Lowry & Ava Max, etc. As of March 2019, the duo have amassed 140+ million total streams across various platforms, including 96+ million streams on the Chinese music listening platform, NetEase Music.
